One thing I really like about living in this area is that it's right in between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe. While my mom was here we wanted to take a day trip and decided on Tahoe (or Taco as Brady called it) since we hadn't been there as recently. We drove to a lookout point and saw this beautiful view of Emerald Bay.
Then we stopped at Harrah's casino for lunch. Brady hasn't been in a casino since he was a baby, so he was fascinated by all the lights and sounds. We had to laugh when he asked us, "What game does Brady want to play?"
After lunch we walked around Heavenly Village, which is at the bottom of Heavenly Ski Resort.
Here Grandma is explaining to Brady why there are all the coins in the fountain.
They have an ice skating rink there in the winter, but for summer they set up a miniature golf course. This was Brady's first attempt at golf and he hasn't stopped talking about it since.
Here we are waiting our turn for the next hole.
The weather was in the low 70's, warmer than we expected. Lake Tahoe is beautiful and we really enjoyed our trip.

That's awesome that you went there! It looks like you had a lot of fun. I want to take Cyrena mini golfing so badly, but there really isn't one around here. I think she would love it. It looks like Brady did. And you're looking like a cutie pregnant lady, beautiful!
I think Brady is cheating on the golfing. Cory must have taught him that.
