Farewell to Devan

Cory's younger brother Devan gave his farewell talk in church Sunday in Fresno. He enters the MTC next week, August 5. We were all together at Cory's parents' house for the first time in more than a year. It was so fun for Brady to play with all his cousins, and we adults had some fun ourselves.
Here are some pictures we took outside after Devan's farewell.

This is Cory's immediate family.

We were missing two in-laws and the newest member of the family, 4-week-old Austin. Considering we all live within three hours of each other, you wouldn't think it would be so hard to get a family picture, but this was quite an accomplishment for us. The last one was 5 1/2 years ago before any of us had kids. Now look at all these little rascals.

When Devan comes home there will be four more 2-year-olds, just like these four. This time ours will be the girl with three boy cousins her age. We definitely have a disproportionate amount of boys in this family.

Fooseball was a hit with these kids. It was pretty entertaining to watch them scramble to be the first to grab the ball off the table, just to put it back in the hole.

Best wishes to Devan and to the people of Guatamala!
