We can't say enough about this sweet girl we have been so blessed to raise. She is easy going, happy, helpful and generally positive about everything.
She was a little nervous but mostly excited about starting kindergarten in August.
She was happy to know Jace would be in her class.
Brady showed her the ropes on the playground.
She also has her bestie Kaitlyn in her class. They ride the bus together.
There is much to be said about how helpful Brooke is with Jocelyn. She keeps her entertained. She also changes wet diapers voluntarily. She gets her out of bed and brings her down the stairs, or carries her to my room in the morning for her feeding.
It's so cute when Brooke comes home from school and these two are reunited once again.

I will say that as much as Brooke loves Jocelyn, sometimes Jocelyn isn't into it. But it doesn't hurt Brooke's feelings.
Brooke's teacher, Ms. Grace, invites a parent or guardian of the birthday student to come and read a book to the class. Brooke picked the book and she and I traded off reading the story to the class. Brooke is a good reader and she was confident up there.
Because Brooke is so laid back and also partly because of her previous shyness, she has never asked for a birthday party. I decided it was her turn, and we picked a makeover theme. The girls first got their hair and make-up done and their nails painted. Then they put on some accessories and we had a photo shoot.

We couldn't leave Jocelyn out.
