Both years we've been in this ward, Santa has come with the bishopric to our house. They told us Sunday which day they'd be in our neighborhood. It just so happened at dinner that night Brady asked why we never get to see Santa. We had just finished eating when we heard a knock at the door. It was none other than the jolly old man himself. The kids were caught off guard and shy at first. He sat down and they willingly took a picture with him once they saw he had candy canes for them.
He asked what they wanted for Christmas and Brady told him he'd mailed him a letter. "Well I'm sure it's on its way then," Santa replied. As they were leaving Brady peaked outside and asked, "Where's the sleigh?" The bishop said there wasn't enough snow so they had to take his car. Since Santa's visit and all through the holidays, Brady has thought of a lot of questions. I told him he's going to have to ask Santa because I don't know the answers. So he decided to make a list.
Why does Santa have a big white beard?
How does Santa give every child presents?
How does Santa get to every child before it's light outside?
How does Santa carry gifts for every child on his sleigh?
How does Santa come down the chimney so quietly?
How does Santa take down our stockings without knocking anything over?
How does Santa eat all those cookies without getting sick?
Are reindeer real?
Is Santa real?
Just turned 6 and he's already questioning things, my analytical child.

Madilyn felt that the movie The Santa Clause answered a lot for her. Especially since the apartment we are in right now doesn't have a chimney. So cute!
That is so funny that Santa Claus comes with your bishopric. I have never heard of that!
