Here is a slide show from Brooke's last month of babyhood. She was a fantastic baby, and I'm going to miss it. I do look forward to seeing her learn and grow as a toddler though.
At one year she is...
Sitting in a booster seat for meals.
Not taking any steps yet, but she's working at it.
Saying dada, daddy, etc.
Climbing the stairs from the basement to the second floor with no problems (except the two times she's fallen down when she was distracted).
Having more fun playing with Brady.
Spinning herself on her bum.
Still nursing morning and night, but drinking cow's milk before her afternoon nap.
Taking two naps a day and sleeping 11 hours at night.
Throwing little tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants.
Working on her 5th tooth, which will likely take 2 months to cut.
Her check-up was just a day after her birthday, and she weighed 17 lbs. 11 oz. which makes her in the 5th percentile. We're working on fattening her up so she's not off the chart when we go back in a couple months. Her length is 28 1/4 inches, which is 25th percentile. Yep, she's a tiny little thing, and her lack of hair makes her look young too. Birthday photos are on their way.

Yay Brooke! What a good girl, I'm glad she's been so awesome for you. I bet part of it is your positive attitude though. My friends baby is the same age and she was about the same weight so they're giving her butter and such. She still doesn't want cow's milk yet. Funny how babies are so different. Mine are always big chubs with a mop of hair!!
