Devan, Cory's younger brother, married Brooke on August 23 in the Los Angeles temple. But they weren't the only ones posing for pictures in the sand...
Their wedding was the perfect excuse for us to skip school and head to the beach.

We chose Manhattan Beach, which was our favorite when we lived down there. We didn't make it to the beach when we went to Disneyland in 2011 or when we went to Lego Land last year. We realized that it was Brooke's first time, as well as Colin's of course.
This little lady LOVES digging in dirt, so she was as happy as a clam.
Colin didn't stop at digging. The sand served as his afternoon snack and a face exfoliant.

The beach provides for hours of entertainment.
The kids did go in the water, but the sand and seashells held their interest.

We had a nice dinner at a country club in Tarzana after the sealing. The views were incredible, overlooking the Hollywood hills.
We stayed with Cory's parents' in Fresno for a couple days where there was a reception. It didn't take Colin long to test out the dog food. Somehow he managed to open the gate and get in the kennel before any of us noticed. I'm considering getting him his own hot dog squeaky toy.
It was so nice seeing our family, especially those we hadn't seen in two years. Now we're counting down to our next family vacation...

Love the beach photos! My first thought when I saw Colin in the kennel was, "Wow, they must have a huge dog!"
Oh I love the beach! You guys are all so cute! Miss you glad everyone is doing well. Tanner and Colin would have so much fun playing together now.:-(
