Four Generations
I took Brooke and Colin to my mom's house for four days. My niece's baby blessing was that Sunday and I've never seen a baby blessing turn into such a big shebang. I guess we had a few family members and friends come to Brady's blessing, but nothing like the people who showed up for Madison's. I got to see my grandparents and step grandma, so it worked out well for me.
We drove up to Bear Lake on Wednesday.
Brady and Cory were making their way there as well, but they took their time and stopped at Fossil Butte National Monument in Wyoming.
Thursday was our first day at the lake where we rented a boat and all the fun equipment that goes with it.
Cory did alright his first time wake boarding...
but he definitely prefers water skiing.
We decided grandma and the moms would come up with an activity to keep the kids occupied while meals were being prepared. My activity was music time where we danced and rolled around on the grass. This song was Tooty-ta. Look it up. It's fun.
Thursday night the guys went 4-wheeling and we ate s'mores.
Cory and Scot couldn't go to Bear Lake without checking out the golf courses again.
Grandma gave the kids their own numbered T-shirts and color coded by family. None of these pictures of the grand kids were fabulous, but my kids all look good in this one.
All 5 of us kids now each have one girl, just one each. We thought a picture of them with their different colored shirts would look cute. We just didn't plan on them being so uncooperative.
Becca got a couple good shots of the kids before Colin decided he was done.

A typical face of Colin's. Be happy you can't hear the sound that comes with it.
Then we decided to try more with him walking.
After pictures, the kids got to do Becca's activity, a game where the kids threw cheese ball puffs at each others' shaving-cream-covered shower caps.

Brooke sitting still for Asher
Brooke and Avery didn't spend every second together, but we did find them playing with each other quite a bit. I got a kick out of seeing them sit together on the bench at church. Avery, with her brown curly hair and fair freckled skin, and Brooke with her straight blond hair and tanned skin, really couldn't look more opposite for two little white girls.
