Jocelyn is 20 Months

I haven't done a Jocelyn update in a while.  She's changed so much in such a short time.  She is so smart and learning everything, good and bad.

She puts multiple words together: Hi dada, night night Bady, I want it, no want it, no more, all done, etc.  She is saying new words everyday, to the point where I've stopped being surprised that she knew that word.
I spy a lefty!

Jocelyn does not like to sit in her seat unless we are all at the table for dinner.  Otherwise she wants to sit on a bar stool like the other kids, but she's fallen off too many times for bar stool sitting this young.

She gets into the pantry like she owns the place.  The marshmallows are up high now, along with all the other goodies, but she managed to get her chubby little hands on the pretzel bag and help herself this afternoon.  In summary, once she started opening the doors, life has taken a bit of a turn for the worse around here.
She gets so excited by the thoughts of leaving the house.  If we say bye-bye we are rewarded with a huge smile, then a questioning look, "shoes?" just to confirm she, in fact, does get to leave.

She always talks about her friends, Autumn (Auma) and Dash.  After she has confirmed her exit from this supposed prison we call home, she then asks Auma? Dash?

PS. She has had TWO haircuts since this photo was taken December 14.  I'm trying to get it even with the sides, but the back grows so fast.  It just really wants to be a mullet.

She calls Brady Bady and Brooke Butt, with 2 t's of course. Ha!  She attempted Colin's name for the first time today: Nonin.
Since she was sick on Christmas, Jocie opened a couple presents a few days later once she was feeling better.  These kids could not have been more excited.  They're definitely some of her biggest fans.

Jocelyn is our dinnertime entertainment.  She shakes her head and fists and turns bright red with the funniest look on her face.  We all crack up.  Every time.  Then once she's got our full attention she proceeds to make funny faces with her mouth or squishing her cheeks.

I had to include this video.  It's just too funny for words!

She has always loved attention, and hi was her first word.  She would turn around in the grocery cart just so she could greet people as she passed.  Everyone knows where we are sitting in church based on where they hear "hi, hi, hi, hi," which she will say to you until you smile and say it back.  Then she'll move on to the person next to you.
She also likes to watch people as she walks by them.  Once she has made sure you see her and smile, she'll move on.  Otherwise she will keep looking at you to the point where she'll run into something first. Basically just adore her, people!  That's all she really wants.

Now that her first four molars have finally cut through, this irresistible photo shoot is fitting again.  For a while I thought our sweet baby girl was gone as this monster toddler possessed her body.  Not so anymore, thank goodness!  She does have some stubborn independence in her, but overall she is pretty easy going and happy.
