6 Months

We didn't do much to celebrate Colin's half birthday today except to play outside in this beautiful spring weather.
The door jumper is still a hit, but we wanted something else to keep Colin busy and content (and contained in the near future).  He's pretty happy in his Exersaucer.

Colin is Mr. Slobberface lately  he's always got to have something in his mouth.  He sucks on his socks, shirt sleeves, and now toes once he manages to get his socks off.  He still likes the pacifier, but sometimes those toes are just so much more appealing.
We have to oil his head and cover him with anti-itch cream daily.  He's got the worst exema of all our kids, but we're hoping it will clear up once the weather warms up.
Colin is much more durable now, so the kids frequently ask to hold him.
In the 8 weeks between Colin's 4-month check-up and his cardiologist appointment this week, he lost an ounce.  I figured he'd gained at least a pound, but with this loss he went from 45th percentile to 15th.  The cardiologist wants to make sure it has nothing to do with his heart, so he's going to speak with the pediatrician.  We'll go in for his check-up next week.
I'm all for supplementing him with formula, but he still refuses to take a bottle.  So we're adding formula to his rice cereal and giving him that twice a day.  He wasn't a fan of the squash, green beans and applesauce I tried earlier this month, but he LOVES this cereal/formula concoction.  With a more full tummy he seems much more content, which is making us all much happier.

I love that last picture! He looks so big. Hopefully with solids he is sleeping better through the night for you.
