 Brooke has had this craft board for a while, but she's been using it a lot lately for water color paintings.

 Never underestimate the joy that comes from a balloon.

Brady's class participated in a wax museum this year.  His character was Jesse Owens.  He had to sit very still at his desk, and when someone pressed his button, he gave a 3-minute presentation on Jesse Owen's life.  It was a fun and interesting project, and we got off easy with the costume.

Then end of the month I got to go to Las Vegas with my mom and 2 of my sisters.  This was our third time doing this, so we've got a routine now that we all like.  One night is spent at Casear's Palace where we shop at H&M, eat at Cheesecake Factory, then give ourselves make-overs at Sephora.

 We also got pedicures, shopped at the outlets, and saw a movie.  And we always eat at the Grand Lux Cafe in the Venetian, or is it the Palazzo?  Oh wait, there are two and the hotels are connected, so that can be confusing.

We took Terra out for her birthday to a buffet we had never tried before.  It is called Le Village Buffet in the Paris Hotel.

 Their delicious French cuisine includes prime rib, sweet and savory crepes, and creme brulee.  I started off the meal with this triple berry crepe.

Of course there is a marathon game of Wackee Six in the hotel lobby every night, which consists of name calling and sometimes spilled water.  We go to Vegas because it's warm and because three of them can drive there.  I love our routine, and that's always a fun trip.  We talked about bringing our daughters with us sometime down the road.  I'm glad we've made this a tradition.

Not long after I came home Colin swallowed a penny.  Thankfully it went down okay with just a bit of pain in his throat.  With gloves, tongue depressors and this plastic "hat" for the toilet, we searched through 6 bowel movements in 72 hours before we could finally confirm that he'd passed the penny.

Last but not least, this beauty.  Ha!  I gained 10 pounds in the month of February.  Vegas didn't help.  Fortunately my weight gain has slowed down significantly this last trimester.  This photo was taken at our ward "Not-So-Newlywed" activity.  It was a fun night and a great way to finish off the month.
