Little Princess

 Yes, we've got a little princess in our midst.  

She got some dress-up dresses and jewelry for her birthday and Christmas, and she wears them 3 or 4 days a week.  Usually with bear legs and feet, and somehow she's never cold in our 65-degree house.

Lately she has been taking extra special care of her babies and dollies by nursing them.  Apparently they like the bottle as much as Colin does.

 Brooke is always quick with a compliment, and most are directed at me.  One night she was awakened by a bad dream.  It was early enough that I was still dressed when I went in to check on her.  Once she was fully aware, she smiled at me sleepily and said, "I like your shirt."  Yep, she's sweet like that.

 Right now she's in a ballet class (more photos to come, I hope) with three other girls her age.  She's having lots of fun, and most of the time Cory's been home to watch the boys.  We enjoy this mother-daughter bonding on Wednesday mornings.

Brooke has a new favorite song by Carly Rae Jepsen, "Call Me Maybe", and she has really good pitch.  She especially likes "And all the other boys, try to chase me, but here's my number, so call me, maybe?"  It doesn't take much to get her dancing either.  She gets her index fingers out and goes to town.  Right now we're listening to it and she's practicing hopping on one foot.

Finally, with all the excitement gone after working at it for a year, Brooke was officially potty trained on March 5.  She rarely has an accident anymore.  She still wears Pull-Ups to bed, but that's normal for this household, and we don't consider that as part of potty training.

We LOVE this little girl.  She brings a smile to all our faces, and she's got Cory wrapped around her finger.  She is one of the best things that ever happened to him, and I love seeing how happy she makes him.
